Walks Programme ~ March to June 2019

John Ayles is compiling the next Kingston programme of walks and would appreciate hearing from members and associates who will kindly offer to lead. Please look at our website www.kingston-ramblers.org.uk and click on the tab at the top entitled Leaders Pages. The second tab down will be the Draft Programme. Full details not wanted until mid-January.

Shorter walks

Some members have said that they cannot typically manage the full length of the advertised walks but could come for, say, the morning.

* All London walks are very likely to have opt-outs at each main road. A bus will take you to a railway or tube station.

* For Figure of Eight Walks, there is clearly the option to do one half only

The following walks have opt-outs not given in the printed programme:

Saturday, 23 February 2019 Linear Walk Witley to Haslemere Bus opt-outs at Chiddingfold (lunch)

Wednesday, 27 February 2019 Linear Walk Box Hill & Westhumble to Dorking. Bus opt-out at Brockham (lunch)

Frauke Boys RIP

A past member, Frauke Boys, known very well to Sunday walkers, died on 20 November 2018. She had moved up north to be near her son but many people will remember her. Please see the news item on our website:
